EGKA Summer Grading

A demanding weekend was had by all on this weekend's training and especially the grading.

Our club had 5 juniors and two adult students grading this weekend. As with all National gradings there was jubilation for those that past and complete devistation for those who failed.

EGKA black belt gradings are amoung the hardest in the world to pass and go on for over three hours.

I am pleased to say we had 5 successful students but sadly two did not quite make it. To fail a black belt exam is one of the hardest things to come to terms with because students work so hard to achieve it. Luckily the students that did not pass are back training and are on course to pass next time. It takes great determination to pick yourself up and try again and our whole karate school is very proud of them.
